Māori Engagement Strategy – Sport (2013)
MT20 is a community initiative that promotes Māori talent.
When WAHA was approached by MT20 to create an awareness strategy, MT20 were not receiving any financial support.
In close collaboration with MT20, we developed a Māori marketing and brand strategy that would resonate across gender and age boundaries.
We are proud to have helped MT20 gain sponsorship from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Beautiful Māori, and engagement with Under Armour.
The results of the marketing strategy speak for themselves: an overnight jump in the MT20 community, with 160 participants registering in the Tag20 team competition.
